2009 Boys - Bedford CC Running News
October 13th, 2009 - The Bedford Boys CC team is ranked 7th this week in the state poll. This reflects the hard work the entire team has put in over the past three years to rebuild the program. Congratulations and continued success as the team works toward their ultimate goals the remainder of the season. October 3, 2009 - Bedford graduate Loren Ahonen back in action after an injury running for Western State (Colorado) at the Oklahoma State University Cowboy Jamboree. September 7,2009 - 5 days until the Tiffin Carnival! The boys have been training hard since South Lyon. The girls competed this past week at the Mason Relays. For those who have not been there before this is one of the country's largest CC meets. It is well run and goes on all day. Bedford will send the high school and middle schools boys and girls. Head on down to Tiffin, only about a 75 minute drive, and cheer on the Bedford teams. August 29,2009 - The Bedford cross country teams opened the season at the South Lyon Invitational. The boys finished 2nd and the girls 4th overall. August 15, 2009 - There have been two changes in the schedule for this year. The SEC Jamboree #1 has been moved to Munson Park in Monroe. The SEC Jamboree #3 is on October 22nd not the 21st. The schedule page has been amended to reflect these changes. August 15, 2009 - The 2009 Alumni Race took place today. The Boys won for the first time in 6 years with a score of 23 - 37. The Girls team also was in action for the first time this season. August 7, 2009 - The teams have returned from running camp in Glen Arbor. Only 8 days remain until the Alumni Run. Is this the year that the HS Boys can challenge the alumni team? |
