It was another beautiful Saturday for the Tiffin CC Carnival. Almost 7,000 runners competed in this years event. The Varsity A team finished 15th out of 33 teams. The top 5 runners all posted PRs on the fast course. Tommy Valade led the Mules in 18th place with a time of 16:14. Nick Kaiser broke 17:00 for the first time finishing in 56th place. Derek Hibbs, Chad Machinski, and Jordan Call ran in a pack and finished very close together between 17:25 and 17:28.
The Varsity B team also did well placing 19th out of 36 teams, many of which were school's varsity teams. Cory Schoendorf led this squad followed by three freshman; Adam Horace, Jake Nye, and Brandon Benore.
In the open race, Troy Tidwell ran very well placing 10th with a time of 17:49. This performance moved Troy to the Varsity for the next race.
