Midwest Distance Gala

Nick Kaiser ran in the 800 meter run at the Midwest Distance Gala on Saturday June 13th in Illinois. He led the race until the last 200 meters when senior Danny Neff (Ohio 800 meter champ) ran him down. Nick finished 3rd in this race. This was the first time all year that Nick has been beaten in the 800 meters.  Nick's time of 1:51.83 is yet another school record! Coach Masters confirms that this time counts for a school record as this was an "official" post season meet. Nick is scheduled to run the 800 at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina later in June.
