11/13/2007 The Cross Country Banquet was held this evening at the BHS Cafeteria. The freshman looked very nice in their shirts and ties. Anybody who has pictures of the event please send them to us (Contact Us) so I can post them to the site. These were the major award winners.

11/4/2007 Bedford is ranked 17th in the recently updated Top Teams of the 2000s by the MITCA. The points were compiled by BHS teams placing in the state meet in 2000, 2001, and 2002. See entire list by clicking on the link above. 11/3/2007 Cross Country banquet to be held Tuesday November 13th at the BHS Cafeteria. 11/3/2007 Tommy Valade finishes 83rd out of 249 runners in the Boys D1 Finals of the MHSAA State Meet. 10/27/2007 MHSAA Regional Meet. Boys finish in 6th place out of 15 teams. Tommy Valade finishes 15th to qualify for the state meet. 10/25/2007 Bedford Now article on the boys CC team featuring Nick Kaiser and Tommy Valade. Nice to see the boys get some recognition for their hard work. 10/23/2007 See MHSAA Regional page for details of Saturday's AA Huron Regional Championship. 10/22/2007 Congratulations to Abby Masters (that would be Bob's daughter). She was the Ohio 7th Grade CC Champion at the Ohio Middle School CC Championships held in Dublin over the weekend. This is the link to the results page. http://www.ohiotrack.org/ 10/18/2007 Jamboree #3 at Hudson Mills took place today. Bedford finished in fourth place. Tommy Valade finished 7th earning First Team All SEC honors. Next up is the MHSAA Regional Meet on Saturday October 27. 10/7/2007 Next up is Jamboree #3 at Hudson Mills on October 18. This is our league championship meet. Top seven individuals are All SEC. 10/6/2007 Portage Invitational turns into a major fiasco for the BHS Boys CC team( see full report). The BHS girls varsity was 17th out of 38 teams. Both of the junior high teams finished in 3rd place. The junior high girls team was again led by individual champion Kelsey Calhoun who continues her awesome season. 10/2/2007 The Kicking Mules finished 4th in the SEC Jamboree #2 behind Saline, AA Pioneer, and AA Huron. Next up is the Portage Invitational on Saturday. 9/30/2007 Next up is Jamboree #2 at Saline on Tuesday October 2, 2007. 9/29/2007 Clay Eagle Invitational - Boys HS varsity finishes 7th out of 20 division 1 teams. Boys HS JV 6th out of 12 teams. Girls HS varsity 3rd out of 19division 1 teams. Girls HS JV 3rd out of 16 teams. Bedford Junior High School girls are champions led by individual champion Kelsey Calhoun. Bedford Junior High School boys runners up to Clay by only 2 points. 9/27/2007 Clay Eagle Invitational is Saturday September 29,2007. BHS boys and girls along with BJHS boys and girls are all in action. Annual family picnic to follow the last race. See the Clay Eagle Invitational page for details. 9/26/2007 Boys and girls junior high teams both win the second SEC Jamboree at Hudson Mills Park. Congratulations to Coach Davis and his teams. The boys won with several large packs of runners. The girls won with a solid top five led by Kelsey Calhoun (first place) as usual. |
